Hello Panther families! My name is Bernetta Chadwick. I graduated from UNLV with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a master’s degree in Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. I also have a master’s degree in literacy from GCU. This will be my 17th year working in CCSD and my 9th year teaching. During my time with CCSD I have worked as a classroom assistant, a resource teacher, an itinerant specialist with the LINKS Team, an autism teacher and I will now serve as the Special Education Instructional Facilitator (SEIF) and the Behavior Interventionist. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family, watching crime shows, travelling and shopping. I look forward to an amazing year with you all!
Hi Pittman families! My name is Holly Rothschild. I am thrilled to be teaching another year of Pre-K. This is my 13th year with CCSD and my 13th year at Pittman! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. I adore children and I love watching the incredible growth made in just a year’s time. Pre-K sets the foundation for a love of learning and gives young learners the skills to manage their emotions. When I am not at school, I am just as busy at home with my 3 children. My daughter Lily is 16, and I have two boys, Ashton, 11 and Hudson, 4. My husband Elan and I are usually on the soccer field on the weekends cheering our daughter on. We love taking family trips and celebrating any little accomplishment like learning a new vocabulary word, good grades and soccer goals! I am looking forward to a fabulous 2024-2025 school year!

Hello! My name is Diana Villa. I am happy to be a part of the Panther community. My educational background includes an associate degree from SCN, a bachelor's degree from Grand Canyon University (general and special education teacher), and a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University (autism specialist). This is my third year of teaching students with ASD, and I absolutely love working with these children. Before I became a teacher, I worked as a teacher’s assistant for 10 years in special education programs (the majority of which were primary and intermediate autism classrooms).
I like creating engaging learning activities and interactive games that support students’ learning. This is rewarding for me to see how my students grow and meet their goals.
During my free time, I love to spend time with my four beautiful American cocker spaniels and one cat that does not know that he is a cat because all his life he spent with cocker spaniels. Also, I like to spend time with my friends and travel. My favorite activities are cooking, crafting, and knitting.
I look forward to another exciting year, and I cannot wait to meet my returning and new students.

Hello families and students! I’m Jill Nagel and I began my teaching career in 1998 making this my 27th year in education. I am originally from the Chicago suburbs, have lived in New Jersey and am happy to be here in Las Vegas since 2001! In my teaching career, I’ve taught pre-k, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade. Additionally, I have been a math strategist, instructional coach, and a gifted education (GATE) specialist. This year, I teach GATE at three schools: Vegas Verdes, Roundy, and Pittman. I love teaching gifted students to think critically and creatively while fostering their independence as learners. In my free time, my favorite things to do are travel, see shows around town, and spend time with family and friends.
