Daniela Mayoral
Hello, my name is Ms. Mayoral. I am originally from Central Valley California and moved to Las Vegas in 2020. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine and moved to Las Vegas to pursue my Masters in Education at UNLV. I taught 3rd grade for two years and then started teaching second grade. I have a dog named Buster who is my best fury friend. I love art, movies, going on adventures, hanging out with friends and cooking a new recipe. I played Basketball which taught me a lot about hard work and teamwork. I like to be ready for the day with a coffee boost in hand. I am so excited to be part of the Pittman family!

Hello!
I am very excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year! This will be my seventh year teaching at Pittman! 2nd grade is a fun time where students start becoming more independent as they master new skills. 2nd grade is a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries. In my classroom your child is cared about. I value their ideas, thoughts, and actions. They have unique talents and strengths and I can’t wait for them to share with their classmates. They will each bring so much to our class and I can’t wait to learn more about them! I believe that parent, teacher, and student communication is the most crucial component for a successful school year filled with academic and personal growth. A little bit about me. I have a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education in Learning and Technology. In 2002, I moved to Las Vegas with my family. I have a son who is going to college to be an nanotech engineer. Few things I like are chocolate, coffee, traveling and watching my favorite shows. I look forward to getting to know you throughout this year! Feel free to email me whenever you have a question!

I am honored to be working at Pittman Vail Elementary. A little about me, I was born and raised in California. Married my wonderful husband, and had a little girl. Due to my husband's work back in those years, we got to travel and live around the world. While we lived abroad, I worked in the PTA Committee at a school which was sponsored the American Embassy. After working daily with children, I knew this was my calling. We then moved back to the States and I dedicated myself in becoming a licensed teacher. I have a Bacchelor's Degree in International Studies and Economics from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Began my teacher training in San Diego State University (SDSU) and continued it in Sierra Nevada University and the Colleges of Southern Nevada. I perfomed my student teaching in Spring Valley/Lemon Grove in the County of San Diego. Worked as a teacher in the district of Henderson for some years now. I have experience with working with children who are under the program of special education in both Kindergarten and 2nd grade levels. My method is to work alongside with parents for their children's successful growth. Your support is essential when you show it by reading with your child, motivating them to do their homework, and nurturing encouragements will help them have a love for learning in education. Thank you for being part of our Panther Family!
