Ms. Kirwan

Hi everyone! My name is Courtney Kirwan and this is my seventh year teaching at Vail Pittman. I was born and raised in Henderson, Nevada and take pride in being a local to this great city. I attended UNLV to earn my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and my Masters Degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. When I’m not teaching, I love to go paddle boarding and shop for vinyl records with my fiancé, have family dinners with my parents and brother, and watch reality shows with friends. Some exciting news I want to share is that I will be getting married in September in Hawaii! My new last name with be Mrs. Biaggi, but of course I will still respond to Ms. Kirwan... for now ;) I became a teacher because I have always adored working with children and I want to make a difference in our future generations. My goal is to create a safe space in the classroom for students to learn, have fun, and grow academically and personally.
Ms. Reese

I am honored to be a part of the Vail Pittman community, where I have proudly served since 2018. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in both Special Education and General Education, along with two master’s degrees—one in Reading Instruction and the other in Autism Spectrum Disorder. My educational background and experiences have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and effective instructional practices that support student success.
Throughout my career at Vail Pittman, I have had the privilege of serving students with exceptionalities, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have worked in special education classrooms and supported students through individualized instruction, evidence-based practices, and a commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.
