Hello, Panther families! I’m Mrs. Jess, and I'm excited to return for my 9th year at Vail Pittman Elementary, where I’ve proudly served as office manager for the past 5 years. As a Las Vegas native and former Pittman student, I’ve been part of this incredible community for over 30 years. Seeing our students shine every day inspires me, and I’m eager to work with you to make this school year a success for your amazing children. Married for 20 years, my husband and I are proud parents of three amazing kids. When I’m not at school, I love RZR riding, camping, and beach trips with my family. I’m excited for a fantastic year ahead and look forward to seeing our Panther community thrive!

Hi! Panthers! I'm Ms. Carissa, and I've been with the Clark County School District for 10 years. For the past five years, I've had the pleasure of working at Pittman Elementary, where I've loved getting to know our amazing students, families, and staff. I truly enjoy being part of a school community and helping create a welcoming, positive environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to do their best. Watching students learn, grow, and gain confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy camping, spending time with family and friends, and making the most of life's little moments. I'm grateful to be part of the Pittman family and look forward to another wonderful school year!
Hi! My name is Garrett Kakita, RN and I am super excited to be part of the Pittman team. I have been a CCSD school nurse at Pittman Elementary for 8 years. I have previously worked as a registered nurse at Sunrise and Summerlin Hospitals. I have lived in Las Vegas for the past 20 years. I was born and raised in Southern California. I have a BS in Nursing from Nevada State College, and a BS in Business from the University of Southern California. During time off, my family and I enjoy traveling the country and camping at National Parks.
